ShinRa News Network

The ShinRa News Network (SNN) is a news agency and television network run by the ShinRa Electric Power Company. It is the main source of news for the citizens of Midgar, despite being heavily biased towards ShinRa and often filled with propaganda.

    - The face and hair of SNN
    - High charisma and personality a must as a newscaster
    - Work from SNN building to bring coverage and news to viewers; no "field work" in the city
    - Different areas of expertise: news, community features, interviews, weather, sports, fine arts, business, etc

News Reporters

    - Unlike Anchors, the majority of the time they conduct field work / sniff out stories in the city
    - Write own reports (print or television) and conduct interviews
    - Different areas of expertise: news, community features, interviews, weather, sports, fine arts, business, etc

Photojournalists

    - Responsible for using images rather than text to create a news story
    - Photography experience required
    - Be on site in the city for special events and occasions

Cameramen
